The Hudson Music Festival is a collaboration between many artists, individuals and
businesses in the local area. It includes feature "Salon"
concerts at unique heritage homes located in the Hudson area, "Grand Concerts'' at the
St. Thomas church and St. James church, special performances at local restaurants and
cafes as well as all the great music and festivities that are part of the Saturday Street Fair
activities.

At the Street Fair there will be a variety of performances on the Cameron Stage featuring
blues, folk, roots, rock and jazz performers, with more bands and singer/songwriters
spread out at other locations around the village. The Hudson Street Fair creates a day
vibrant with great music, fine food and wonderful arts and crafts.

For this 4th edition of the Hudson Music Festival, the performers are international and
national, with a large mix of many of the very talented local area musicians. The music is
diverse, with a strong sense of "roots", be they folk, blues, rock, African or European. This
year the "Grand Concerts" will feature the Chadwicks (internationally renowned singer
Karen Young with  Coral Egan, Doug Young and Isabelle Young) and the South African
sounds of the legendary Thandie Klaasen with Lorraine Klaasen and band. The Salon
series this year will reach from the classical styling of International conductor/musician
Marc Trautmann (Paris, Bordeaux, Pekin), through the blues, latin styling of the Jim
Norcross Project (with Yoel Diaz, Jay Jesse Johnson and band), to the eclectic acoustic
guitar repertoire of Roger Mann and Bryan Bowser. Thursday the 30th, the Willow will be
treated to the blues rock styling of Breen LeBoeuf, Brian Greenway and Blair Mackay.

The Street Fair day, August 1st, will feature many of the talented local musician on the
Cameron Stage (Sarah Kemerer, Glen Bowser, Karen  Cromar, Dan Gallant, Brian
Gallagher, Emily Lamarche and many more). This stage will be hosted by local  area
songsmith/guitarist, Rob Stefan and band. As well, from 4-6 the Cameron stage will
feature  some of the younger bands from the area.
