Christmas Blues to Merry and Bright...
Feel the Holiday colours and Spirit!
How to avoid the holiday blues…Feel the holiday Spirit.
Open your hearts…that’s all you have to do.
Do something new, make something, bake, do something different…Give something from the heart. Help out at a local food banks.
Shop local, encourage your local merchants and artists, Donate to a local charity instead of office exchange gifts, get involved, help
out in a community or school events, bring toys to charity or hospital with your children, visit a retirement home and just listen to
their stories for a while… you’d be giving the best gifts and you will feel the joyful glow of the holidays…that’s the spirit of the season!
(which should last all year long…its growing :)

A few nights ago after my oldest son left after our weekly family dinner to go study for exams and Hayden went off to bed… the
holiday movie the Grinch (with Jim Carry)..was on the TV. I just had to watch it, I had never seen it before…The first time I saw “The
Grinch”, it was New!!!! I was a young child, but I’ll never forget it, I only knew French at the time but somehow understood it all as I
watched this in timeless Classic in English, the message of Christmas was clear…it didn’t come from a store, it didn’t come all
wrapped up, it wasn’t about the gifts of the feast, the tree or the decorations…it was all about the Spirit. The light, the glow inside…I
understood!

Also do something classic…go to your local Christmas parade, Christmas shows, watch Christmas Holiday specials, with the kids
or by yourself, because we all need to take a Holiday cheer break during the busy festive holiday season to regroup our Spirits.

In Honor of Remembrance Week

Some of my fondest memories as a young girl was on Sunday afternoons at my
grandparents home. I loved to watch my grandfather paint for hours. I learned
about composition, colours and landscape simply by watching him paint. He would
paint such landscapes as this capture. I would often hover and dance around him
asking lots of questions. Other times I would simply watch when he didn’t know I
was watching, sitting at the top of the stairs because that’s when he was in a
magical creative zone. I can still remember the scent of the oil paints, his cologne,
all combined with a delicious aromas of Sunday family dinner cooking. I still love
Sundays...some things we never forget.
His spirit is often with me when I go on nature walks. He was the best teacher
without knowing he was teaching ;) He was also also a Canadian Veteran, but I
remember him as my grandfather, a dear man and Soul that has made a huge
impact on my life.

HellOoOo November....

HellOoOo November and Thank you October for your beautiful colours. Every
season, every month, every day, every hour, every instant has it's gifts.

"The name 'November' is believed to derive from 'novem' which is the Latin
for the number 'nine'. In the ancient Roman calendar November was the
ninth month after March. As part of the seasonal calendar November is the
time of the 'Snow Moon' according to Pagan beliefs and the period
described as the 'Moon of the Falling Leaves'
by Black Elk."

Autumn Aligment...

When you allow you to align with yourself, you are aligning you with you’re true
authentic self, this is achieved by the virtue of balanced thoughts and emotions
within. You are what you think and feel. When one is aligned, it’s a great feeling, it’
s like an awesome golden energy glow within which stems from you're center
core and then radiates onto the other world. It's an expansion of
yourself…therefore when you allow yourself to be yourself, you are allowing this
expansion, you are allowing yourself to be all that you have become. The more
people allow themselves this gift of expansion, the more the whole world will feel
this alignment weather they are aligned or not.

In Remembrance... Lest We Forget

Let us Remember, Lest we forget.....Remember the men and women
who fought for our country, for they are our heroes! We have all that we
have because of them…we are blessed and fortunate to live in such a
wonderful beautiful and free country because of them. Their Spirit lives
on... Let us honor our Heroes today at 11.11 with a moment of silence,
prayers and gratitude. Fill your heart with love and peace for a better
tomorrow for all.
Peace to all!

Fall Contrast

Contrast is s good thing. It lets us figure out what we like and
don't like in life. If there would be no contrasts then how would
we know what we like or don't like. It's like a buffet of all the
foods that we like, if there where no new foods to taste how we
like new things, how would we evolve? If everything was the
same all the time, life would be boring. Life's contrast are like
gifts. Once we know what we don't like or want in life the closer
we are at reaching for and getting what we do like and want in
life ...
The Well Being Place

Managing and keeping balance is part of everyday
challenges. Here’s a bit of a secret, always find a
better feeling when you don't feel well being and it
puts you on the path of feeling better, it works for
everything. It’s kind of like this picture, the good
feeling place is like an inner glow, you get there
with feel better then you do thoughts of what you
are thinking about, your feel better thoughts will
then radiate in your vibration as well being.
Giving Thanks ~ For  Bountiful Blessings
With all that is going on in the world with the economy these
days; it is now even more important then ever to count our
bountiful blessings rather the dwell on the things that we do
not have. What the world needs is not for people to get stuck
in the spiral negative energy of fear. Do the opposite, the more
we are grateful for what we do have to more we are sending
out good energy into the world around us. Thanksgiving is for
giving thanks for our many blessings....if we all did this
everyday, the world would be a much better place, ! When you
say "I Give Thanks" with genuine gratitude.... You will feel its
joy instantly....for these are gifts of true of blessings
Happy Thanksgiving...Blessings and most of all enjoy!

Following your Path....

I would like to share a story with you. I was out early one morning
this week shooting horse pictures for a client. It was very misty
outside and on the way back somehow I got lost on the small back
country roads. Then a feeling or an inner voice said, keep driving
about a half mile more down this road. I had a feeling I would find
something special and this is what a found. What a scene, I was
blown away. The moral of my story is that we should always listen
to our inner voices they always lead us on the right path. It was like
I had found my path, so i'm calling this capture Maddy's Lane.

Lighting the way to the Olympic Torch relay in Hudson
~ The Olympic Torch came to our town ~

The Olympic Torch Relay in, Hudson Quebec, December
8th, 2009 ~ photo of Hudson's silver-medal Olympian Evert
Bastet over the cheering crowds.
The whole quint little of Hudson was in a frenzy, the Olympic
and community Spirit was buzzing! The excitement was at
its highest that I had ever seen here. It felt like WHO ville on
Christmas night from the Grinch story, when the whole town
united in spirit and song to sing the most poignant O Canada
song I had heard for the flame. I was proud to be Canadian
and proud of my home town. It was really an amazing night
and event. The energetic cheers from the crowds even made
us forget it was cold outside. This is a moment that i'm sure
we will never forget! Cheers to the athletes and the people of
Hudson, the spirit of the season. Thank you for coming to
our small town we are really in the Olympic Christmas spirit
now.

Dreams can come true ...if you want them too!

What stands between you and your dreams ~ usually simply you.
(Meaning ourselves ~ we are the only ones who is the hindrance or the
power between ourselves and achieving our
desired goals and our dreams).
Change the way you think about things and
you can changes and reach your dreams.

The above photo and thought description is my interpretation of this quote by Henry Miller.
"One’s destination is never a place but rather a
new way of looking at things."
