they soothe one's soul.
What is the one thing in the world that can be seen,
shared and enjoyed by absolutely everyone in the
world no matter what race, religion, status or where
they are from, that is absolutely free, simply
spectacular, constantly changing, available in all
spectrum's of colors and shades, takes you're breath
away at times and makes you look up in the sky and
say “WOW”, even if just for an instant? …the
answer…a ”Sunset”

Just beyond the sunset
Someone waits for me
Just beyond the sunset
Lies my destiny
Where the purple mountains
Lie in deep tranquillity
There I’ll find the treasure
Of love eternally

Just beyond the sunset
Waits someone so fair
Just beyond the sunset
All alone they wait there
Their hair is golden
The colour of the sand
Their eyes sparkle in the night
Like diamonds in your hand

Just beyond the sunset
Lies a home for me
Where the world is peaceful
Like a paradise should be

Summer Solstice Skies

Summer Solstice Skies over
Hudson, Quebec, Canada.
Solstice comes from the Latin
(sol, sun; sistit, stands). For
several days before and after
each solstice, the sun appears
to stand still in the sky—that is,
its noontime elevation does not
seem to change.

At the solstices the sun's
apparent position on the
celestial sphere reaches its
greatest distance above or
below the celestial equator,
about 23 1/2° of arc. At the time
of summer solstice, the sun is
directly overhead at noon at the
Tropic of Cancer.
