Maddylane (Madeleine Langlois) is a Hudson artist, décor designer, columnist and photographer.
As a decor columnist, when the newspaper industry started to change, Maddylane simply changed her creative
direction to focus on her other talents. You are invited to join Maddylane at this special event, her first “Photo

Artist Bio: Maddylane’s @ Home décor with Maddy weekly Miy articles where featured in the Montreal Gazette for six
years and various Canadian magazines. With a keen eye for photography and product merchandising, Maddy enjoys
taking all the stylish pictures for her MIY articles. Her up-to-date and imaginative ideas are due to her combined
backgrounds both as a fashion and giftware designer, which have created her trademark and distinctive style. Maddy
is the Canadian forerunner of the MIY (make it yourself) movement.
Her artistic touch has also graced children’s books, unique giftware products, Christmas decorations, as well as
designed for major Canadian companies, ladie’s and children’s wear.
Artist Story: When Maddy is not making things, her passion is enjoying nature, kayaking and photography. It's the
excitement of capturing a moment, an instant forever, it’s pure poetry for the heat and Soul! Which is the inspiration
behind her career direction change and latest Photo book “Mystical Journey”, photo poetry for the heart and Soul.
Her love for nature and Canada is illustrate in her every magical landscape capture. Maddylane photographs being
utilized by various media. The Hudson Music Festival made her famous 3 chairs in the lake photo their event poster.
