Precious thoughts
What amazes me about boys is their ability to pursue their hunt and quest, run
around in the mud, catch frogs with there bare hands....and in the middle of it
all… to suddenly stop abruptly… at the site of pretty wild flowers...and say
“Hey…stop” to his buddy..”Got to pick these for my Mom!”. And then with a
proud smile rushes over to me and says…”Here mom for you!”....I thank him
with a big kiss and a hug...and he dashes off back to continue doing the boy
thing....just thank god he didn't give me the frog!

The catch of the day!

This is what the boys found at the
end of the pathway at the pound.

and release of the day...the frog!

Canada!
Boys being boys, on a sunny
afternoon after school!

One pathway, two different
perspectives…My 7 year old son
ran as fast as he could to go to
the pond, to see his friend and to
put first dibs on the biggest
frog…I on the other hand took my
time to enjoy the beauty of the
surroundings, the sunlight just
so, the soothing sounds of the
nearby waterfall, and to take
pictures too.
